Once you find the application, right click on it and a drop down will appear on the screen, click on the properties tab..
Its relatively straight forward to locate the "change icon" button here, clicking on it will direct you to a section that displays a list of web graphics that can be applied to an application. However, sometimes, you will not see the change icon tab, in this situation, you should make a desktop icon; to do so, click on the cancel button of the menu for properties and use the right button on your mouse to go to the the first menu, here you should seea second option that says "send to desktop" or "create shortcut", use this this button and return to the initial screen, you will now notice the application with the standard Widows icon. Now, you have to right click on it and switch the image.
If you cannot notice the image that you need in the dropdown list, browse through the system to find an appropriate icon
