Which graphic editors are best used for creating/editing raster or pixel graphics?

Which car is the best for Los Angeles streets? Which coffee cup is the best for Arabica coffee? Which raster editor is the best for editing pixel graphics? These are similar questions with similar answers:

The one you find the most convenient.

All cars are intended for driving in the streets. All coffee cups are created to drink coffee. And all raster editors are created with the only reason to edit raster graphics.

Admin that the street name, coffee sort and graphic type is not that important. You are important. You choose the car which you and only you like. Similarly, you choose the software which you like. (Same class programs just like same class cars provide its owner with almost identical features.)

Obviously, before finally selecting the program for editing graphics and lose yourself in creative action, you would like to try various programs. You have the right to get into the car, jump in the sit, press the horn and drive at the expense of the manufacturer (or the dealer). This is what I advise you to do.

Drive in Adobe Photoshop:

    Drive in Corel PhotoPaint
    (you should download the entire CorelDRAW package, 300+ Mb, 30-day trial):

    Deviate from mainstream and look for other software.
