To place special emphasis on logic and ethical aspects of difficulties in job with the personnel, that is, putting before itself the purpose, to make their so obvious that they had to pay attention — we use exercise which has proved as the extremely effective. We divide collective into logicians and it and ask each of groups to develop the basic preconditions for dismissal according to the staff reduction approved from above. (Sometimes we from the very beginning get into difficulties: in some organisations it so it is not enough what to create from them group it is not possible; however if them it is typed three or more person, it can yield good results.) each group writes the answer to the big sheet of paper which we then hang out for the subsequent discussion.Among the criteria offered by logicians, invariably there is a reference to a policy of the company before which all are equal: «by the last it is employed — by the first it is dismissed». Besides, logicians make lists of various criteria of productivity — quantity of sales in week, quantity of the processed documents at o'clock, observance of terms of jobs and so on. Those who types most of all points by these criteria, can least be afraid of dismissal. The same, whose labour successes do not impress, can be on the street the first.
Ethics, on the contrary, switch on in number of criteria of dismissal such factors, as requirements of families of workers, the family income and quantity of members of a family of each of them, necessity to raise children, possibility to find new job, a length of service, a state of health and so on. It it is peculiar to refer also to a policy of the company and productivity factors, however it not those conditions by which they first of all are guided. (In the same way logicians take into consideration age and personal needs of the worker, however for them it is faster additional factors.) ethics quite often aspire to that their recommendations to dismissal have been highly individualised and would consider softening circumstances while logicians are is more often inclined to develop more impartial rules and staff reduction principles.
