Training pyramidWhen I speak about education and training often I use this scheme which I name ita training pyramidit. It represents synthesis itGardner's seven talentsit and some my personal observations made during a time of lecturing on business and investment. Though this scheme is not a product of exact scientific working out, it shows some parities which can become a subject for discussion.
Personally I could learn so much, playing "Monopole" because has been involved in game intellectually, emotionally and physically. Game forced me to think, resulted in emotional excitation and forced to make some physical actions. It engrossed all my attention because the considerable part has been involved in it me, and besides, I very hazardous person.
When I am in an audience and is compelled to sit quietly and to listen, as someone speaks on a subject which to me is uninteresting or not clear, my emotional status is somewhere in the middle between irritation and boredom. Physically I start to fidget on a chair or I try to fall asleep, is simple to get rid of intellectual and emotional discomfort. It is difficult to me to sit without movement, trying to apprehend the information mind, especially if it me does not interest or the lecturer is too boring. Whether it can cause what parents and school in increasing frequency resort to soothing, trying to force to sit quietly hyperactive children at school desks? Quite probably that these children are inclined to practical training or them that force to learn them does not interest. And when children start to revolt, the system pumps up their medicines.
As to spiritual training it is not necessarily connected with religion though can be and so. Under spiritual training I meant feeling which arises in us when we look Olympic games for invalids and we see, how children with physical defects run or move on carriages, straining all forces of the body, mind and spirit. One year ago I was at such competitions where strength of mind of these young men has touched spectators to depth of soul. I too have risen to the feet and began to shout, encouraging these young men pushing forward the crippled bodies is much stronger, than I am capable to force to move the physically a sound body. Atmosphere has been impregnated by their energy and passed all of us. They have reminded all of us, who we actually and of what we are made. I speak about such type of spiritual training.
