Creating a Custom Icon

Every single icon is carefully created by our professional designers. Their work process is divided into certain stages:

1. Roughly sketching a future icon on paper.
   
   During this stage, a variety of pencil sketches is produced and presented to the customer. Aside from being visually pleasant, the sketch should also meet some specific requirements, to ensure the final icon will look good in any resolution. For example, the icon should not be too crowded with small objects and details, to scale well. Neither should there be lots of empty space in the image. A quality icon looks equally good in 256x256 and 32x32 pixels resolution.
   
   Average size of the sketch should be about 5 by 5 cm (2 by 2 inches). Creating colored sketches, or making vector drafts is not favorable.
   
   
2. After the perfect sketch is selected and confirmed by the customer, the designer creates a vector image with low detalisation.
   
   
   
   
3. All the necessary corrections are applied to the vector sketch. When it is approved by the customer, the designer starts on creating the largest icon size with the maximum possible level of detalization.
   
   
   
   
4. When the larges icon image is done and reviewed, the time for smaller images comes. They are crafted to match the larger image perfectly, except carry less detail and may be slightly rotated, for better recognition.
   
   
   
   
5. All the finishing touches are made and an icon is mailed to the customer in all the required color and file formats (ICO, BMP, GIF, PNG, JPG, EPS).
