As prompts us our experience when we face various ethical problems (whether it be personal or corporate) and we solve them, it is very useful to consider such problems from a position of all four steams of preferences. It will help you, and also all the rest, structurally to solve ethical dilemmas. The similar approach will promote more objective and firm permission of a conflict situation regardless of the fact that the ethical problem — not fading large-scale scandal or pair of the words told in personal conversation represents. Typological preferences: your actions at the decision of ethical problems The extrovert: The introvert: - Force itself to listen attentively to the interlocutor sharing with you an ethical problem. - Do not aspire to be got involved in dispute with the interlocutor or to take over it top. - Be careful of thoughtless and inconsiderate remarks to which you do not give any value but which nevertheless the interlocutor can apprehend seriously. - Be not silent at all. - By the own words or actions let to the interlocutor know that divide its fears. - Do not become isolated on considering of the stated problem and do not leave it without the answer. it: The intuitionalist: - Keep up the conversation in the tideway of concrete data. - The problem should be real, feasible and surmountable. - Define, whether you are capable to undertake this problem and to solve it. - Demand the general prospect. - Ask questions like «As the situation will shortly look?» Or «what probable results of this position?» - Remember that intuitionalists are inclined to it, as anybody another so they are capable to see "prospect" there where business actually will appear hopeless. The logician: it: - Help the interlocutor to establish, whom the given problem actually concerns. - Help the interlocutor to save objectivity. - Watch to confusing logical actions with fair, but subjective reactions. - Do not rush on rescue of the interlocutor from its problem and refrain from its transformation into the problem. - In every way aspire to save impartiality and dispassionateness to remain the good listener. - Specify to the interlocutor in how its moral difficulties could grow from its behaviour and values. it: it: - Bring in a problem clearness and make of it definition... - ... But do not aspire to solve it at one stroke and at once to get rid of it. - Suppress in itself propensity to such means of the decision of problems which will switch on rigid terms and the invariable list of actions. - Keep the interlocutor from hasty actions about which he can regret subsequently. - Help it to look for alternative decisions. - You should know, when you should recede aside and to give to another to operate independently.
